Bogart

At the center of the sporthorse breeding program is Bogart, a beautiful and athletic Friesian stallion.
Bogart's kind temperment and willing character are truly representative of his breed, as is the deep and trusting bond he has formed with Jennifer.

The Friesian is often referred to as the "Golden Retriever" of horses. Bogart has this gentle disposition, and is sometimes more puppy than horse! To the amusement of many, he and Jennifer play tag (and even fetch!) in his large, rolling pasture. The game playing will surely continue at MCF, as we all look forward to learning more about Parelli Natural Horsemanship!

Bogart routinely leaves his herd to seek Jennifer out; a call of his name causes thundering hooves and a return greeting as he gallops to meet her. The bond of friendship they share is evident to all who know them!

Bogart has excellent gaits and ideal confirmation with his short compact body, long elegant neck and legs and his beautiful head.

Bogart's gaits are forward, swinging and expressive. Bogart continues to gain strength through his dressage training which is helping to enhance his already lovely way of going.

Bogart was trained by Drew Callahan in Collinsville, OK.

He will continue in his dressage career. He is showing an aptitude for ridden dressage. Bogart seems to enjoy the dressage work and will certainly do well when the time comes to show him.
